Veterinary Radiation Oncologist - Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is looking for a full-time residency trained or board-certified Radiation Oncologist to join our well established, rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.

About the role

This position represents the first Radiation Oncologist for the hospital targeted for fall of 2025. Radiation oncology will support and expand the already well-established Oncology department & will play a pivotal role in the hospital’s new Cancer Center.

Our team

Our close-knit hospital team consists of 3 Internists, 2 Radiologists, 4 Surgeons, an Anesthesiologist, 2 Ophthalmologists, a Medical Oncologist, a Criticalist, a Cardiologist, and a team of dedicated Emergency Veterinarians. 

Our hospital

Our current hospital is a 15,000 sq ft open-concept hospital includes: 12 exam rooms, 3 surgery suites, a 30 cage ICU, an 8-table treatment area. The hospital is presently equipped with endoscopy, echocardiography suite, in-house blood analyzers, telemetry, digital radiography, CT and ultrasound. In the Fall of 2023 we will be moving into our beautiful, new, purpose built, 26,000 foot hospital and will include a Fluoroscopy/C-Arm suite, MRI and a new Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with IMRT, VMAT and SRT.
