BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA is seeking a relief/locum boarded Internist or an individual residency-trained in internal medicine to join our team.

BluePearl Charlestown is located in a historic building just outside of Boston and has a 24-hour ER service Monday-Thursday and Urgent Care Friday-Sunday, in addition to our board-certified specialists: two surgeons, an anesthesiologist, a dermatologist, and another internist. We collaborate with our partner hospital in Waltham to provide the best multispecialty care to our patients, including two surgeons, two internists, two radiologists, two criticalists, and several emergency doctors.

The 8,500-square-foot hospital has an open treatment space floor plan and is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2017. It features sophisticated diagnostic equipment such as a Toshiba Aquilion 64 slice CT, a Phillips EPIQ 5 Diamond Select Ultrasound and Vet Ray Sedecal digital radiograph system. This year we are also adding an OEC 9800 Cardiac C-arm with flat screen, 30 frames per second video recording and PACS integration. Our hospital also has a dissection surgical microscope, Arthrex laparoscopy/thoracoscopy/arthroscopy tower, and Olympus endoscopic tower with full array of rigid and flexible endoscopic, brochoscopic, and cystoscopic cameras.

Charlestown, MA is the oldest neighborhood in Boston. It is less than three miles to downtown Boston, Fenway Park, The Freedom Trail, Boston Harbor and is near National Museums.
