Wanted: A driven Fellowship-Trained Nephrologist who likes being heard!
These days, it seems that more and more multi-specialty animal hospitals are being swallowed up by large, overly managed, bureaucratically driven corporate giants who preach innovation and collaboration, but don’t really practice it.
We’re not one of them.
At ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Palm Beach County, we’re privately owned and operated by hands on board-certified doctors who applaud initiatives, invite input, and encourage doctors (and supporting staff) to talk about ideas, needs, and wants.
Now we’re looking for a Fellowship-Trained Nephrologist who is primarily driven by 5 things:
- The satisfaction of providing advanced veterinary medicine with the autonomy and support to explore new ways of doing so.
- Working in a modern, spacious facility with cutting-edge technology, and well-trained, friendly support staff.
- A strong understanding that a warm and professional personal relationship with referring DVMs and their clients is as important as providing excellent medical care.
- The opportunity to ‘turn-off’ work when needed to enjoy family, friends, and recreational pursuits that help boost your quality of life.
- Sunshine, and a reasonable cost of living. (See our location.)
Role and Responsibilities
We know that as a Fellowship-Trained Nephrologist, you already have a good understanding of what is required for this role – which we’ll discuss with applicants in person. (BTW: You may have something we’re missing and would love your input.)
In short, you’ll be tasked, and rewarded, to help introduce and provide leading veterinary nephrology services to referring DVMs and pet owners in South Florida. This includes functional duties and leading and guiding your support team in a professional and business-like manner. You’ll also work closely with our administration and marketing folks to ensure you’re settled, up and running as soon as possible, and successful.
More of what’s in it for you.
Besides the benefits of working in one of South Florida’s best multi-specialty animal hospitals, you’ll enjoy industry-leading competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package which includes generous PTO, a 401K with matching, and excellent health benefits. (If relocation is required, we offer financial assistance to qualified candidates, including introduction to new neighborhoods, community services, and all the things needed to help make you feel at home in no time at all.)
Act urgently! We have patients ready for you.
To find out more about the Nephrologist role at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Palm Beach County, the facilities, its location, and the people with whom you’ll be working, please contact our Medical Director, Marcos Unis, DVM, MS, DACVS-SA.
As one of the owners, you’ll find him affable, interested and more than keen to explore what we can do together. As always, total confidentiality is assured, so reach out today.
We look forward to hearing from you.
