Associate Internist Specialist Position for Oncura

Oncura Partners Diagnostics is actively in search of an Internal Medicine Specialist to join the OPD team of independent consultants providing telemedicine support to our OPD clinic partners. Oncura Partners Diagnostics, LLC partners with veterinary hospitals to provide ultrasound imaging solutions that improve patient care. Our revolutionary technologies provide the path to creating our unique and revolutionary telehealth portal with the patented remote, real-time ultrasound platform with live sonography assistance. We are a full-service telemedicine company. The primary focus of OPD is to provide solutions to the general practitioner that positively impact patient care and outcomes. We currently have a team of Internists, Cardiologists, and Radiologists.

We are currently offering full-time and part-time salaried positions. Work is from home (or anywhere with a good internet connection). Full-time salary benefits start with at least a 3 day work week (health, dental, vision, 401k matching, CE allowance, professional fees reimbursement, PTO).

Specific Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Interpret ultrasound imaging as provided via the Telemedicine platform. This currently includes abdominal, bicavitary, focal (i.e. thyroid, reproductive, etc.), and Global FAST scans.
• Use an Oncura provided work email. Respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Be willing to communicate with Oncura clients or staff.
• Participate in at least one yearly online Webinar.
• Participate in the Specialist Team Meetings every 2 months.
• The candidate would also have the opportunity for CE travel at an additional production.

Compensation:

Base salary with a production bonus plan.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited University.
• State Veterinary Board Licensure for their respective state, which must be in good standing prior to hire date.
• A Board-certification in Internal Medicine (DACVIM), and ideally, the candidate would have 5 years of experience post-certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Desire to provide exceptional patient care via an innovative Telemedicine platform.
• Dependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction, and is available during work hours.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in providing quality reports; maintains close attention to detail.
• Productivity standards are met while completing quality work in a timely manner.
