Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is looking for a Medical Director to help lead their growing team.
Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is dedicated to providing unparalleled specialty services in neurology, surgery, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, nutrition, dermatology, and dentistry. Our facility is open 24/7 for emergencies and equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including a Siemens 16-slice CT scanner, a Logic GE S8 ultrasound machine with four different frequency probes, and a comprehensive lab featuring Lacuna diagnostic equipment. We are committed to expanding our services and fostering a culture of strong collaboration and ongoing innovation.
Position Overview: As the Medical Director at MASH, you will play a pivotal role in leading our dedicated veterinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive care to our patients. You will work closely with the hospital director to ensure operational excellence, uphold our mission, vision, and values, and drive the success of the hospital. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of veterinary medicine at our hospital and contribute to the growth of our services. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding our services and enhancing our reputation as a premier specialty animal hospital.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and guidance to the veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional medical care. • Foster a positive, professional, and supportive work environment for all staff members. • Act as a medical subject matter expert, staying current with advances in veterinary medicine. • Oversee the development and implementation of medical protocols and procedures. • Collaborate with the hospital director to drive operational excellence and achieve hospital goals. • Participate in yearly continuing education (CE) in hospital leadership, management, or training and development. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
