Full and Part time Oncologist Position Available—Relocation Package and Competitive Salary

To the east are the amazing Cascade Mountains. To the west, Oregon’s breathtaking coast. Nestled in between is an excellent opportunity at Oregon Veterinary Referral Associates in Eugene-Springfield.

A little about us: We’re an AAHA-accredited, privately owned specialty referral practice with outstanding support and technical teams. Established in 1997, OVRA provides Small Animal Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Cardiology, Rehabilitative Medicine and Surgery services for the cities of Springfield/Eugene and surrounding areas.  We are the only group of private practice specialists in a 100-mile radius.

Our new 18,000-square-foot hospital is equipped with the most current ultrasound, digital radiography, CT, fluoroscope laparoscopic, rigid, and flexible endoscopy, and laboratory equipment available. As well as a dedicated Chemotherapy suite and Biosafety Cabinet.

We offer a collaborative environment with a highly trained team of caring and motivated personnel with a shared vision of delivering quality and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate is motivated and enjoys working with clients and patients. Has a willingness to teach and learn. And has a good sense of humor.

For an individual looking for a team-oriented practice with a solid referral base, Oregon Veterinary Referral Associates is a place where you can grow and prosper.

We can offer you:

  • Competitive base salary based on a percentage of revenue
  • 4-day work weeks and no on-call duties
  • Flexible schedules
  • Eight paid holidays per year
  • Paid time off and sick leave
  • Continuing education stipend
  • Health insurance
  • Dependent/Child Care
  • Simple IRA retirement plan with match
  • License and association dues
  • Relocation expenses and signing bonus
  • Work-Life Balance

We can also offer you the truly unique lifestyle of Oregon’s south Willamette Valley. We are closed on the weekends, so you’ll have ample time to experience world-class skiing and miles of majestic coastline within a couple of hours drive, vibrant wine country, whitewater rafting, salmon fishing, and some of the country’s most beautiful hiking. Eugene is a culturally rich university town, but Portland is less than 90 minutes north if you need a city fix.

If you are an Oncologist focused on excellent patient care, have great communication skills, and compassion for clients, we would like to talk to you. Please email your resume to Craig Cousins at cousins@ovra.com for immediate consideration.

Our hospital is growing, and we would like you to grow with us!
