Position Overview:

 The salary range for this position is $174,500-$325,000. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience.

Clinical Faculty in Radiation Oncology

The Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine seeks candidates for a clinical faculty position in the field of Radiation Oncology.

The position includes a 70% clinical commitment to the Radiation Oncology service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Other responsibilities include teaching, professional competence, creative scholarship, and service.

The current base pay range is $174,500-$325,000. Other components of pay may be offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications: DVM or equivalent degree and ACVR Radiation Oncology board certification, or DVM or equivalent degree and completed or currently enrolled in an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program. Expected completion of an ACVR-approved residency in Radiation Oncology by October 2025 is required. The successful candidate will have documented clinical experience and competence in radiation oncology, aptitude and experience in clinical teaching, and a record of creative scholarship or potential for scholarship. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to join our collaborative team.
