Veterinary Cardiologist

Virginia Veterinary Specialists (VVS) is a privately owned, small animal, multi-specialty referral practice located in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. We are seeking to add a second board-certified or residency-trained cardiologist to our team of specialists.

VVS first started serving the community in April 2010 and quickly established ourselves as a leading provider of compassionate, advanced, specialty veterinary care in Central Virginia.  We are currently expanding our team to better serve the needs of our referring community by adding a second cardiologist to this busy existing department.   

VVS offers specialty services in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, and rehabilitation. Our staff consists of eight boarded specialists, approximately 25 licensed veterinary technicians and an additional team of 30+ support staff and administrators. Our Cardiology service is supported by all the tools, technology, and experienced staff needed to provide optimum patient care and diagnostics. Our strong team culture centers on teamwork, collaboration, and investing in our team in the hope that VVS will become a long-term career choice.
