The Veterinary Radiation Oncology Clinic (VROC) at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, invites applications for a tenure-track or clinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Veterinary Medical Oncology. We seek candidates with a DVM degree or equivalent and ACVIM board-certified to join our expanding clinical team.

VROC offers cutting-edge, innovative therapies for companion animals, supported by state-of-the-art treatment facilities. Our team works closely with other specialties to provide the most advanced medical and radiation oncology care available. VROC section located within the Department of Radiation Oncology benefits from substantial funding from federal and state agencies, including multiple R01 grants, which support a wide range of research areas such as novel therapeutics, small-animal irradiation, PET instrumentation, medical imaging, image-guided therapy, heavy ion therapy, automatic treatment planning, and artificial intelligence driven medical oncology innovations. The position will offer collaborative opportunities with human oncologists and researchers from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)-designated Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the largest national cancer centers.

Located in downtown Dallas, VROC provides excellent recreational opportunities. The role will focus primarily on the clinical care of companion animals but will also offer significant opportunities for scholarly growth. This position will contribute to the advancement of One Health and the development of innovative treatments applicable to both veterinary and human patients.
