Cardiologist

Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists (PVS) is seeking a second board-certified Cardiologist or an individual residency trained in Cardiology to join our team. PVS is a 24/7 emergency/specialty practice in Glen Mills, PA whose mission is to create a medicine first, patient first culture as a veterinarian owned hospital. We seek to create an alternative option for veterinarians in the corporate dominated specialty market in Philadelphia. This alternative affords the freedom of autonomy to make on the ground decisions without layers of management. The Cardiology service is composed of a boarded Cardiologist with fifteen years of clinical experience and a certified nurse with sixteen years of clinical experience, five of which are in cardiology.  With the addition of a second cardiologist, we will expand the Cardiology nursing team and the Cardiologist will have the opportunity to select their desired echocardiogram machine.  Our doctors work as a team, discussing difficult cases and covering each other’s patients when one doctor is out of the hospital so that days off can truly be spent focusing on family and your world outside of the hospital.

Our facility, which opened in August, 2021, has emergency/critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, diagnostic imaging and cardiology. We also have a GE 16 slice Lightspeed CT machine, a mobile GE 1.5 Tesla 16X MRI unit and endoscopy.

PVS is located in Glen Mills, PA which is a southern suburb of Philadelphia. Glen Mills is a growing area and home to popular stores such as Costco, Wegmans Market, Whole Foods and several modern outdoor malls. In addition, both Main Line Health and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia have built new large facilities as the community is becoming a medical destination. There are farm country options just south of us in beautiful Chadds Ford and Kennett Square as well as more suburban environments in West Chester and the Main Line.  The location is also about 40 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Unionville/Chadds Ford, the Main Line and West Chester/Downingtown are home to some of the best schools in the state.
