Queensland Veterinary Specialists (QVS) is expanding its team for the opening of our new Sunshine Coast Hospital in 2025. We are on the lookout for passionate and skilled individuals to join us in providing accessible and compassionate veterinary care.

Our Medicine Team
At the core of our practice is a commitment to delivering unparalleled service, driven by our unwavering dedication to matching each case with the expertise of the best veterinarian available. You will be joining the wider hospital group currently supported by 9 internal medicine vets, 3 residents and 4 interns. Our current hospitals are well equipped with advanced technology and patient care in mind which include digital radiography, ultrasound machines, multi-slice CT scanner, endoscopy, and high-field MRI. Collaboration is ingrained in our approach.
Our Sunshine Coast hospital will offer a remarkable array of amenities (over 1500m2), including 10 consulting rooms, dedicated cat and dog hospital wards, spacious ICU and HDU facilities, 4 well equipped surgical theatres, 4 procedure rooms, 2 ultrasound suites, in-house pathology services, a comprehensive radiography suite featuring CT and MRI capabilities, and 2 digital X-ray rooms. Nestled just 900 meters from the beach, it combines advanced veterinary care with a serene coastal setting.
Our team works closely across all disciplines to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each patient's condition, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and expertise.

Requirements of the role:
- Be a Residency Trained specialist in Internal Medicine being either a Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM, ECVIM).
- Leadership and Management experience is highly desired

- Foster a growth mindset to effectively disseminate the message about QVS and contribute to the establishment and growth of the hospital
