Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists, opened in August, 2023, is the only doctor-owned specialty and emergency practice in the Austin area.  Situated in Bee Cave, TX, VCVS is in an affluent lakeside suburb in the Texas Hill Country just 20 minutes west of downtown Austin.  We are seeking specialists to join our rapidly growing team of three surgeons (one is the only fellowship-trained surgical oncologist in Central Texas), a medical oncologist, a criticalist, and a 24/7 ER department.  We also work closely with a radiologist owned mobile ultrasound group providing services 4-5 days a week.  We have provided 10 years of mobile surgery services in the Austin area, developing close relationships with referring veterinarians and establishing a solid referral base.

Our hospital houses a 64 slice GE Lightspeed CT unit, Olympus endoscopy tower, USP 800 compliant chemotherapy area, x-ray machine with standing horizontal beam capabilities, Mindray ultrasound, Hi-flow oxygen, Snyder oxygen kennels, and mechanical ventilators.  The right candidates can be involved in selecting the equipment of their choice and may also choose to be involved in assembling their support team.
