Veterinary Internist

TruVet Specialty and Emergency Hospital is looking for an Internist to join our team! We are a privately owned, specialty referral hospital located in Sonoma County, California’s beautiful wine country. Established in 2020, we are a rapidly growing practice providing exceptional specialty and emergency care to our community.

Our current specialties include Internal Medicine and Surgery. We are a highly collegial group with an incredibly dedicated support staff. Our vision is to build a multi-specialty hospital where collaboration and approachability are fostered, personal and professional growth are encouraged, and where hard work and fun can coexist. We are seeking people eager to work together and share the excitement of this venture.

In 2020, we completed the build-out of our hospital which provides plenty of space, with the option to expand in the future when needed. Our Internal Medicine Department is equipped with both an ultrasound suite and an endoscopy suite featuring all new Storz equipment. The hospital also has full in-house labwork and imaging capabilities. Any additional equipment requested will be considered.

Situated at the edge of Northern California’s wine country Petaluma, California is in easy proximity to the coast as well as San Francisco. Wineries, brew pubs, and restaurants abound, making Petaluma and the surrounding area a haven for foodies. Despite this, Petaluma still manages to maintain that small town feel with quaint architecture and beautiful hiking trails.
