Unique opportunity for a veterinary oncologist to join our team
Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is seeking a board-certified oncologist or oncology residency-trained veterinarian for our ever-growing, multi-specialty and emergency team.
Creative possibilities for location (our Bellingham WA clinic, or Surrey BC hospital, or a combination) and scheduling (i.e. non-traditional schedules considered) make this an exceptional opportunity for the right applicant.
Why Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital?
We are a pair of independently-owned, collaborative, and team-oriented hospitals that values delivering high-quality patient/owner care in an efficient manner to let you contribute meaningfully to your profession while also protecting your time out of the clinic.
Our Surrey, BC hospital is a large multi-specialty VECCS Level 1 trauma center with surgery, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, critical care, radiology, dentistry, radiology (off-site), and physical rehabilitation.
Our Bellingham, WA clinic is a smaller multi-specialty facility with surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, critical care (part-time), and physical rehabilitation.
We offer a full complement of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including: CT, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy equipment, as well as a complete in-house lab.
Your day-to-day will include:
Consultation, diagnostics to manage oncology patients referred from the community as well as in-house referrals from other services.
Collaborating with other specialists and ER doctors in our hospital.
Building a network of good working relationships with our rDVM community.
What makes us different?

We work together to put our clients, patients, and each other first. We value excellence, providing the best medicine and service by “doing it right” and following through. We always bring our best and meet challenges head on – there is no problem without a solution. We are always improving, learning, and growing as individuals, as a team, and as an organization.

Every moment matters – for you, for our clients, and for every animal that comes through our doors.
Competitive salary and benefits plan.
Signing bonus.
Flexible work schedule, generous time off, and in-house continuing education (CE) opportunities.
