Southeast Veterinary Oncology & Internal Medicine (SEVO-Med) is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join our team!

Looking for a New Adventure? Join SEVO-Med in Sunny Florida!

Are you tired of those dreaded early-morning transfers or complicated consults from other specialists at 4pm? At Southeast Veterinary Oncology & Internal Medicine (SEVO-Med), you won’t have to worry about them! We’re a boutique practice (fancy way of saying small but mighty) focused on just outpatient internal medicine and oncology. Here, you’ll enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment without the chaos of a multi-specialty hospital. Our reputation brings in the best support staff and all of our doctors have a healthy team of nurses.

SEVO-Med has two locations in Orange Park (basically southwest Jacksonville) and Jacksonville Beach, equipped with all the tools you’ll need: GE Lightspeed 64 Slice CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house and reference labs, and more. Need a nearby surgeon or neurologist? We’ve got excellent referral options right down the road.

Florida has been in the headlines a lot lately, but don’t let that scare you off—we promise the sunshine and lack of state income tax more than make up for it! Plus, our team at SEVO-Med is all about creating a positive, supportive work environment where your voice matters, your input is valued, and your coffee preferences are respected.

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including licensing fees, membership dues, health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with contributions, and continuing education. Oh, and did we mention work-life balance? Whether you’re kayaking along the St. Johns River, exploring Jacksonville’s vibrant neighborhoods, or soaking up the sun on our gorgeous beaches, Northeast Florida offers something for everyone. We even have our first ever five-star hotel (Four Seasons) being built downtown near our NFL stadium. And if you want to get away for the weekend, Savannah, Charleston, Tampa, and Orlando are all a short drive away.

Think we could be a great match? Let’s talk!

Candidates can confidentially submit their CV to Jennifer Harper, Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner at jennifer.harper@ethosvet.com.
