The Equine Medical Center of Ocala is currently seeking a second internal medicine specialist (board certified or board-eligible) to join our primary care and full-service referral practice located in Florida's Horse Capital of the World. In-hospital internal medicine responsibilities are shared with the opportunity for ambulatory and field work. Our facilities include a fully equipped NICU and isolation unit, staffed by a dedicated team of 24/7 nursing and technical staff along with a full surgical suite. As an internal medicine specialist in our practice, you will be exposed to a satisfying and diverse caseload.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of medical conditions in horses of various breeds and disciplines. This role will involve working closely with other area veterinarians to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential as you will collaborate with colleagues to develop treatment plans and communicate with clients.

Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Board certification (or board-eligibility) in internal medicine (ACVIM or equivalent) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compensation is base plus production and includes a full benefits package (licenses/dues, professional liability, continuing education allowance, health and supplemental insurance, and 401K).
Equine Medical Center or Ocala (EMCO) offers ambulatory and full in hospital services including 24-hour hospital care with specialists in surgery/lameness, internal medicine, reproduction, ophthalmology, and emergency/critical care in Florida's Horse Capital.
