ACVIM Privacy Policy

The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (“ACVIM”,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you when you visit our websites and domains, mobile websites, mobile applications, social media sites, etc., including www.acvim.org, or otherwise use our other products and services that include an authorized link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”), how we use the information we collect, with whom we share it, and the choices we offer you regarding our collection and use of such information.

Promotional Communications

If you have received a promotional email from us, you can also opt out of receiving future promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in such email.

7.ACCESSING AND CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION

You can review and change the personal information associated with your account by logging into your account and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an email at privacy@ACVIM.org to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. Where we process your data on the basis that you have consented to such processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@ACVIM.org. We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change or deletion would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

8.YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 9.CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

The Services are not directed to, and ACVIM does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, children under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information. 10.CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. ACVIM is based in the State of Colorado in the United States.
