Love Them All Sanctuary + Rescue is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director and Lead Veterinarian to help drive the continued development of our medical program.

We are a Scottsdale-based nonprofit rescue and sanctuary dedicated to dogs facing euthanasia, devastating injuries, complex medical conditions or circumstances that have left them with no one else to help them. Our veterinary clinic is fully operational, allowing us to provide advanced medical and surgical care to these dogs under our own sanctuary roof.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who wants to practice exceptional medicine while helping build a medical program designed around some of rescue medicine’s most challenging and meaningful cases.

The Veterinarian We’re Seeking
We are looking for a seasoned clinician with:

• Extensive surgical experience, including strong soft-tissue surgical skills
• Excellent clinical judgment and the confidence to manage complex medical cases
• The ability to evaluate difficult cases, establish treatment plans and adapt those plans as patients’ needs evolve
• A collaborative approach to working with our veterinary team and sanctuary-care staff
• Strong communication, leadership and attention to detail
• A commitment to treating every patient with the same care and urgency they would give their own animal
• Soft-tissue surgery experience is required.
• Orthopedic surgical experience and/or a strong internal-medicine or emergency background would be a significant advantage.

Board certification is not required. We are seeking extensive real-world clinical and surgical experience, sound judgment and the ability to provide a consistently high standard of care.

The Role
The Director will:

• Direct and coordinate the medical care of dogs residing within Love Them All
• Diagnose and manage complex medical and surgical cases
• Perform a wide range of soft-tissue procedures
• Work collaboratively with our surgeon on advanced and orthopedic cases
• Help establish and maintain medical protocols, standards and systems
• Support urgent evaluations for newly rescued dogs and unexpected medical needs
• Communicate clearly with leadership, veterinary staff and the dogs’ broader care teams
• Help shape the continued growth of our clinic and medical program

Most veterinarians have experienced the heartbreak of knowing exactly how to help a patient but being unable to move forward because of financial limitations. They have had to watch treatable conditions become terminal, recommend euthanasia when a family simply couldn't afford the care, or compromise on what they know would be the best medical plan.
