As an integral part of our Internal Medicine team, you will assist with advanced diagnostics and specialty procedures, ensuring a compassionate and seamless experience for both patients and their owners. This position provides hands-on experience in a specialty environment, along with the opportunity for cross-training in Cardiology.

Expected Schedule

This is a full-time role consisting of four 10-hour shifts each week.

Some holidays will be mandatory.

Compensation

• Starting at $22-34/hr, based on experience

As a member of the Internal Medicine team, you will actively participate in delivering advanced specialty care and supporting diagnostic procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with ultrasounds, endoscopies, and other imaging techniques
• Providing technical assistance for internal medicine diagnostics and treatments
• Communicating clearly and empathetically with clients about their pets' care
• Collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality patient care
• Managing appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications
• Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with timely referral documentation
• Cross-training and supporting the Cardiology department as needed

Who We Seek:

• Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT), or an experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Previous experience or interest in Internal Medicine or specialty care
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• A team-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with ultrasound and endoscopy procedures is advantageous
• Comfortable using veterinary software systems
• A compassionate, proactive, and collaborative approach to veterinary care
